The CEO of the international media group "Russia Today" spoke about the popular musical trend.
According to Dmitry Kiselev, jazz can be called a saving culture.
The CEO of Rossiya Segodnya expressed this opinion in a conversation with RIA Novosti journalists.

According to him, jazz is a genre that does not tolerate imitation. This means that it requires honesty from the performer.
At the same time, Kiselev noted that Russia has already developed its own rich jazz traditions, as indicated by the Gelendzhik-Molodoe festival.
The CEO of the media group "Russia Today" spoke about how jazz is developing in Russia. He noted that within the framework of the project "Jazz at the Speed of Light" the first unified ensemble in the world, united with the help of the Internet, was created.
The trumpeter was in London, the drummer was playing on stage in Koktebel, and the pianist was in Moscow.
And jazz is music that does not tolerate imitation; it is impossible to play it "under the lip-synch". Therefore, this direction, Kiselev believes, is the healthiest and most honest.
