The popular singer Grigory Leps received his party card after attending the next party congress at VDNKh.
Representatives of the party’s press service shared this information with RIA Novosti journalists.
It is noted that the XXXVI Congress of the LDPR took place on Friday, which is taking place at VDNKh in Moscow. This event is timed to coincide with the round date since the party's founding: it turned 35 years old.
In connection with this, the leadership and members of the organization, as well as activists and deputies from all regions of the country, arrived at the congress.
The popular singer Grigory Leps also arrived at the meeting. The performer of the hit "A Glass of Vodka on the Table" attended the event not only as a guest.
At the XXXVI Congress of the LDPR, the celebrity officially joined the party, and the party card was handed to the singer by the party chairman Leonid Slutsky himself.
The ceremonial presentation of the party card to the performer took place at the exhibition “LDPR: 35 years with the people”.
