The Italian actress is going to attend an event held by People's Artist of Russia Nikas Safronov.
Muti will fly to Russia to participate in the opening of Safronov’s personal exhibition “Great Love for St. Petersburg,” writes Fontanka .
The event itself will take place on August 31, but the actress will arrive on August 29.
According to media reports, the world cinema star will be visiting Russia until September 2. Then she will fly to Rome with a transfer in Istanbul.
This will be Muti's second visit to Russia. In the spring, she attended the World Youth Festival in Sirius, where she called Russians a great nation.
Then Ornella admitted that she was learning Russian, but for now she rated her knowledge quite low.
The actress shared that she would not refuse to star in some Russian film project.
Muti also said that she had decided on the dish that she liked most in Russian cuisine. It turned out to be pelmeni.
