Singer Yuri Loza admitted that he once fell for the tricks of apartment scammers.
The artist shares the feelings of Larisa Dolina, who, as it recently became known, became a victim of telephone scammers.
In a conversation with Radio 1 , the singer shared that he himself encountered scammers several years ago. The musician did not just communicate with them, but believed their promises.
Loza was planning a real estate deal and found “specialists” who took an advance payment and disappeared.
The singer immediately contacted the police, but law enforcement officials noted that there are a lot of such cases, so it is unlikely that they will be able to find the perpetrators.
The performer emphasized that fraudsters act faster than the police. In order for the situation to change, more workers need to be involved, Loza believes.
Meanwhile, the police are investigating the case, in which Larisa Dolina has been recognized as the victim. The People's Artist of the Russian Federation lost 200 million rubles to fraudsters.
The police have so far detained a female courier who worked for the criminals.
