The Vice President of ATOR made a statement regarding the suspension of sales of tourist trips to Abkhazia.
The deprivation of tourist flow from Russia is nothing more than educational work with Abkhazian businesses.
Artur Muradyan expressed his opinion in a conversation with Gazeta.Ru .

It is noted that the Ministry of Economic Development resorted to banning the sale of tours after unrest began in Abkhazia.
As the Vice President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia reminded, it is Russian tourists who are the main source of income that Abkhazia receives from tourism.
According to him, it is definitely not worth expecting sales to resume before the end of the year.
At the same time, Muradyan noted that there is no ban on independently organizing trips to Abkhazia. And therefore, many tourists are not scared off by the fact that there are power outages in the country.
Everything is explained by the low cost of vacationing in this country, which is what attracts Russians.
In conclusion, the Vice President of ATOR noted that one should expect the situation in Abkhazia to stabilize only after the presidential elections are held in the country.
