Headaches occur in women 2.5-3 times more often than in men. The Moscow Agency reports details with reference to Timur Grigoriev, a neurologist at the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA RF).
Migraine often begins to appear in young people under 20 years of age. However, with age, attacks can increase in number and intensity. After the age of 55, migraine symptoms may subside.
According to Grigoriev, some people over 50 suffer from headaches, with women experiencing discomfort more often than men.
He noted that headaches are also observed in young patients. At an early age, boys suffer from it more often than girls. At this age, attacks are weak.
It is added that a manifestation of migraine in children can be painful sensations in the abdomen. They can pass on their own or after medication.
