The Russian Ministry of Education and Science and Rosobrnadzor have approved a new methodology for assessing the quality of education. TASS reports the details, citing Rosobrnadzor head Anzor Muzaev.
It is noted that the methodology will be associated with the analysis of the set of knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal qualities of teachers in schools.
It is also known that questions have now been prepared that will allow us to determine the professionalism of a teacher, his psychological and methodological training.
According to Muzaev, a person may know the theory well, but have difficulty passing on knowledge to children.
He noted that the index will include various indicators that will be assessed in three areas: teacher competence, children’s preparation, and the quality of educational infrastructure.
It is added that thanks to the assessment, the governor will understand what needs to be emphasized.
