The governor believes that many children are addicted to games, visiting prohibited sites and risky online dating.

Uyba announced his initiative to the Russian government at a meeting of the Family Council.

The governor proposes to leave school Internet for children, which is used in thematic clubs and sections, as well as in computer science lessons.

According to Uiba, the implementation of this initiative requires political will from the country’s top leadership.

The governor calls for following the example of Italy, where children were completely banned from the Internet for the sake of the educational process.
