The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kemerovo Region announced that the number of children with signs of intestinal infection in Kuzbass has increased to 39 people.
It is emphasized that we are talking about children from the regional sanatorium and preventorium "Magistral".
Law enforcement officials note: “For the first time, 25 minors sought medical attention with this disease,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
Based on the incident, the police opened a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet consumer requirements.
Critical situation
Later, the Rospotrebnadzor Department for Railway Transport released updated information.
Thus, in particular, it became known that signs of intestinal infection were observed in 35 visitors of the Magistral sanatorium.
It is preliminary indicated that the cause of the outbreak of this disease was norovirus infection.
This case is under the control of authorized bodies, and the situation is being monitored in order to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
