In Russia, much attention is paid to the topic of ecology. For this purpose, projects are created, various events are held.
As part of the Ecology project, events of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" were held. Many volunteers took part in them.
Volunteers have removed trash from river banks in North Ossetia. Since the beginning of the year, the number of participants has reached about 30,000. TASS reports details, citing the republic's Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology, Vadim Bazayev.

Thanks to the work of volunteers, it was possible to put in order about 100 km of areas located near the shore, including areas of the Ardon and Terek rivers. The territory was completely cleared of garbage.
According to the minister, the work turned out to be large-scale.
He noted that North Ossetia is on the list of regions participating in the action that are most active. Last year, it was among the top three.
It is added that other projects are being implemented within the framework of the national project, for example, “Forest Preservation”.
