The Ministry of Sports has asked the Kazakhstan Football Federation to explain to Cherchesov the video of his statements on social media.
The reason for the investigation was a video recording of a press conference with Cherchesov’s participation on social networks.
An off-camera journalist asks the coach a question in Kazakh, which he does not understand.
Do you speak French now? – asked Cherkesov.
The Ministry of Sports of the Republic believes that in this way, Cherchesov probably made statements that insulted the Kazakh language, RIA Novosti writes.
The incident was widely discussed on the Internet. The Ministry of Sport demanded an official explanation from the federation in this regard.
