Changes to the contents of the first aid kit for drivers will come into force on September 1.
Taisiya Veprentseva, head of the law firm Delomant Group, commented on the changes in the mandatory list.
She told RIA Novosti that the first aid kit will include medical masks and gloves.

In addition, the list includes a mask for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and a tourniquet to stop bleeding.
The list also includes a gauze bandage, skin adhesive tape, and a rescue blanket.
A pair of bandaging scissors and a pair of surgical scissors are also essential for a driver's first aid kit.
Veprentseva recalled that first aid kits and fire extinguishers were removed from the mandatory list for technical inspections as of September last year.
The Ministry of Health added that the presented list does not establish a ban or sanctions for non-compliance.
Russian legislation does not provide for provisions establishing a corresponding list.
