The leader of the party "A Just Russia - For Truth" Sergei Mironov expressed his opinion on the need to introduce an article on illegal enrichment into the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the politician, there is currently an urgent need to take such measures.
In his official Telegram channel, Mironov wrote: "We finally need to introduce such an article. It is extremely necessary in our times."
In making the corresponding proposal, the leader of “A Just Russia – For Truth” referred to the high-profile arrests of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation
As the politician noted, the activities of the Russian Defense Ministry in this matter serve as proof of the relevance of anti-corruption proposals.
Mironov pointed out: “Speculation in government procurement must be completely and absolutely excluded.”
According to the leader of “A Just Russia – For Truth,” such illegal actions provoke price gouging.
In addition, the politician emphasized the fact that it is unacceptable for such crimes to be committed by senior government officials.
