It is noted that in mid-summer 2022, a project related to psychological support appeared in test mode. After some time, the Moscow Oncopsychological Service appeared.
According to Rakova, the project has proven to be in demand. This is indicated by the number of consultations held - about 10 thousand.
She noted that specialists provide support not only to patients, but also to their relatives. They talk about ways to help a person with a diagnosis.
The Deputy Mayor emphasized that due to the psychological burden on doctors, assistance is provided to them as well. They are trained and provided with techniques to cope with stress.
