The FSB Directorate for Omsk Region reported that law enforcement officers arrested an Omsk resident for a comment on the Telegram messenger.
It is emphasized that the man, using the specified service, made calls for terrorist actions.
On its official Telegram channel, the FSB writes: “An Omsk resident has been found guilty under a criminal article for justifying terrorism.”
The accused is currently in custody and investigative measures are being implemented against him.

The investigation found that in June 2023, the man posted a comment under a video of the interrogation of a Russian prisoner of war.
In his publication, the detainee voiced a call for terrorist actions.
A criminal case has been initiated against the above-mentioned person under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The article provides for imprisonment for a term of 5 to 7 years.
