Plane that crashed in Moscow region sends distress signal and disappears from radar

Law enforcement officials in the Moscow region have stated that the Superjet 100 airliner that crashed in the region managed to send out a distress signal.

It is emphasized that after this the aircraft disappeared from radar.

The Moscow region police stated: “The Superjet 100 was heading towards Vnukovo Airport after repairs,” as reported by TASS .
