The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has released information that new requirements for the storage and use of car first aid kits have been approved.
It is indicated that the decree will come into force on March 1, 2025. It will last until March 1, 2031.
The relevant document is posted on the official portal of regulatory legal acts .
The text of the decree states: “The first aid kit must be located in a place where it can be easily accessed.”
It is important that the placement of first aid equipment does not interfere with safe driving.
New requirements
In addition, when storing a first aid kit, it is important to take into account all requirements regarding the medical products placed in it.
According to the provisions of the regulatory act, motorists are required to regularly check how well their first aid equipment is equipped.
The complete set must comply with the standards approved by the Russian Ministry of Health.
If any of the components of the first aid kit have expired, they must be disposed of immediately.
