In connection with the current situation, Russia has decided to help the country in the fight against the disease.
The Republic of Zimbabwe has received various means from Russia to combat cholera. Details are reported by a TASS correspondent.

It is noted that the funds were delivered to Harare with the participation of the World Health Organization (WHO).
According to the correspondent, the shipment includes various materials, equipment for medical purposes, and medicines.
Zimbabwean Minister of Health and Child Welfare Douglas Mombeshora thanked for the humanitarian aid. He noted that the medicines are very important for patients, so they will be immediately distributed to people in need.
According to him, relations between Russia and Zimbabwe will become stronger. He also stressed that he appreciates Russia's support in difficult times.
Cholera outbreaks have been reported in various places including Zimbabwe, Zambia, and a mass cholera vaccination campaign was conducted in the winter of 2024.
