Peacekeepers from the Russian Federation carried out training activities at posts in the security zone. The venue was Transnistria.
RIA Novosti reports details with reference to the co-chairman of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) from the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR) Oleg Belyakov.
It is noted that the training was coordinated with the Joint Control Commission and the Joint Military Command.
According to Belyakov, the Moldovan side did not want to participate in the exercises, so they were not joint.
He noted that the training was planned. It was carried out where the peacekeepers were serving.
It is also known that the classes included elements of shooting.
It is added that the training will help to create security at peacekeeping posts if necessary.
