Experts have compiled a list of gifts that many Russians have rejected.
A study on this topic was conducted by the DDX Fitness network of fitness clubs and the CUVA service. More than 1,500 Russians took part in the survey.
An online or offline greeting from a famous person was included in the list of offensive gifts, Lenta.ru reports. 19% of respondents admitted that they would not like to receive such a gift.
17% of respondents called a subscription to an online service or access to exclusive content a bad gift. Household goods came in third place (13%).
Also included in this list are: scales, shower gel, mugs, socks, trinkets and items that are popularly known as “dust collectors”.
As for desired gifts, 22% of respondents would like to receive a certificate for a massage, a spa center or a fitness club.
In second place (16%) is travel. Some said that money as a gift would also be acceptable (12%).
Perfumes, clothes, shoes, a romantic dinner and a master class were among the less popular gifts.
