It has become known about restrictions that may soon affect Visa and MasterCard bank cards.
From January 1, these payment methods may no longer be accepted by T-Bank payment terminals.
The TASS agency was convinced of this after studying the corresponding mailing that some clients of the financial organization received.
According to the updated information, this only concerns physical terminals. As emphasized in the newsletter, customers should not have any problems with online payments using Visa and MasterCard.
T-Bank recommended that I get a Mir card to avoid problems with financial transactions.
It is specified that the problems with the above-mentioned cards may be related to the fact that some Russian banks will no longer accept chip security certificates for Visa and Mastercard cards.
The further operation of the mentioned payment instruments will depend solely on the decisions taken by the banks themselves.
