"Star" doctor and TV presenter Alexey Kovalkov has died after losing 80 kg

The famous Russian nutritionist and TV presenter Alexey Kovalkov passed away at the age of 62.

Two years ago, Kovalkov was diagnosed with cancer.

Alexey Vladimirovich was born on April 19, 1962 in Moscow. He became famous after he created his own method of losing weight.

The doctor tried it on himself and lost 80 kg in just 7 months.

After that, he began to appear actively on television, he was invited to the radio. He was a permanent consultant for TV programs and documentaries.

Kovalkov also wrote many books about how to be slim and happy with life.

“Some people dream of losing weight their whole lives, while others just get down to it and do it, and achieve everything!” was the doctor’s motto.

The specialist also advised Russians not to put their health on the back burner and to pay enough attention to it.

Doctor Kovalkov entered the top 3 most sought-after nutritionists in Moscow according to Forbes magazine.
