The State Duma has released information that a decree has been approved on the registration of buildings and structures immediately after their construction.
It is reported that amendments were made, in particular, to the Urban Development and Land Codes.
From the explanatory note to the regulatory legal act it follows: “To date, the presence of 1 to 5 thousand unregistered buildings has been recorded,” as reported by TASS .
According to the authors of the initiative, this circumstance harms the local budget.
Taking the initiative
Thus, unregistered buildings are not included in the housing stock register.
Accordingly, such structures cannot be accepted as objects of taxation, which causes damage to the budget system.
According to the new amendments, persons who fail to register newly constructed buildings and structures will be subject to administrative liability.
In addition, the decree warns citizens against using new buildings for purposes for which they were not originally intended.
