The historic building of the Kresty pretrial detention center in St. Petersburg will go under the hammer.
The auction will take place on February 21, 2025, with the starting price of the lot being 1.052 billion rubles.
The state-owned company Dom.RF , as reported by the press service, is selling the historical complex of the Kresty pretrial detention center in St. Petersburg at auction.

According to the director of federal property sales for the company, Nikolai Sarokvasha, the task in selling such objects is to give them a second chance.
The site of the Kresty pretrial detention facility, with a total area of 3.9 hectares and 41.2 thousand square meters, consists of buildings and structures that are partly a cultural heritage site.
A pretrial detention facility worth 1.052 billion rubles has been put up for auction. Applications for participation can be sent until February 17, 2025. The auction will take place on February 21.
