The Russian Ministry of Digital Development will not disconnect Russian accounts linked to Gmail from Gosuslugi.
Russians with Gmail accounts will not be disconnected from the State Services portal.
The head of the ministry, Maksut Shadayev, confirmed to RIA Novosti that there are no plans to disable the accounts at this time.

In October, Gosuslugi offered users the opportunity to change the Gmail mailbox linked to their account to any other.
Also, member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Anton Nemkin came up with an initiative to abandon Google accounts in favor of Russian analogues.
Shadayev, commenting on the possible disconnection of Gmail accounts from the portal, stated that such plans are not currently being considered.
Earlier, the ministry recommended that Russians create backup copies of their data and switch to domestic platforms instead of Gmail.
