With the holidays approaching, the City Improvement Service announced its readiness to accept a donation of a Christmas tree for installation in the center.
The department's message on its VKontakte page states that the tree must be tall - at least eight meters.
The spruce is planned to be used for installation near the walls of the Mikhail-Arkhangelsky Monastery.
The administration noted that this concerns cases where citizens get rid of large spruce trees on their property.
In such a situation, the authorities are ready to help with the removal of the tree for the improvement of the city.
In the comments, city residents suggested considering the option of an artificial spruce.
Many expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of funds to purchase a New Year tree.
