Putin called on the competent departments and organizations to inform citizens as accurately as possible regarding the conditions of preferential mortgages.

The President noted that many places say that it is possible to get a family mortgage at just 2%.

But there are nuances. For example, the Ministry of Finance has introduced a limit on this mortgage, Putin pointed out.

The head of state stressed that it is, of course, important to fight inflation, but people need to be honestly informed.

The Russian leader is convinced that nothing should be hidden from citizens.

He believes it's better "than when people come and then boom, there's nothing there."

Citizens need to be provided with accurate and up-to-date information, the president concluded.
