In Russia, the need for paid services for preparation for the Unified State Exam will be reviewed.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko announced this on Thursday, December 5.
The authorities want to improve the quality of education and preparation for the Unified State Exam without hiring paid specialists, TASS reports.

A government member reported that as part of the implementation of the future education development strategy, tutoring may be phased out in favor of free services.
Chernyshenko pointed out that parents have to spend money on paid services of tutors, who either work in parallel at school or have gone into tutoring entirely and become self-employed.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that this procedure will be revised in favor of introducing services that will allow students to receive all the necessary knowledge, while their parents will not have to spend money on tutors.
The Deputy Prime Minister has not yet specified the timeframe for implementing the initiative, but the measures will be developed within the framework of the strategy that is being created for the period up to 2036.
