Mufti Ismail Berdiev commented on the Dagestani blogger’s antics.

He told what to do with a man who spat on and trampled an Orthodox cross on live television.

The behavior of blogger Khavier Yarmagomedov outraged Christians and was not approved by Islamic spiritual leaders, RIA Novosti reports.

Journalists also decided to find out what the chairman of the Coordination Center of Muslims of the North Caucasus, Ismail Berdiev, thinks about this matter.

He believes that people do not need to “poke” Yarmagomedova with public censure and condemnation of the community.

Berdiev suggested "promptly punishing" the blogger for what he did: "There is a law. If you break it, answer for it. No ceremony. There is no other way."

Yarmagomedov has already managed to apologize to Christians for his actions. The blogger will be interrogated and charged.
