Sometimes, instead of juicy and tender chicken, you get a dry and tasteless dish.

And the reason for this may be some errors in preparation.

Chef Yulia Arkhipova explained which two things are important to consider when frying chicken.

Using a spatula

Chicken meat can heat up quite quickly, so do not turn the chicken with a spatula too often.

If you move it all the time, it will release juice. As a result, the meat will be dry.

Therefore, the chicken should be placed on a preheated frying pan, and after some time, simply carefully turn over with tongs.

Also, do not fry chicken meat for too long, otherwise it may turn out “rubbery”.

Incorrect marinating

Marinade helps make chicken tender and juicy. But you need to marinate it correctly to avoid the opposite effect.

However, you should not add salt or spices that contain it to the marinade.

Salt can draw water out of the meat, causing it to become dry when fried.

Therefore, it is better to prepare a marinade with some acidic component. For example, it can be vinegar or lemon.
