In the days of our grandparents, many dishes and products were truly natural and tasty.
This is why people feel nostalgic for some things that disappeared along with the Soviet era.
Culinary expert of HERE NEWS, cook and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova is ready to share with you the recipe for that very cocoa from childhood.
Firstly, real cocoa, like in the USSR, was brewed with whole milk; it’s best to use homemade cocoa for these purposes.
In addition to 1 liter of milk, you will need 200 milliliters of water, sugar and cocoa powder.
Pour water into a container and put it on the fire, after a few minutes, gradually pour milk in. The mixture of water and milk should be stirred constantly.
Add 150 grams of sugar, stir thoroughly until the sand dissolves.
Cocoa is added to the drink as follows. Pour two tablespoons of powder into a separate glass, dilute with a small amount of a mixture of heated water and milk.
After the powder has dissolved, add the resulting cocoa mixture to the milk, stir thoroughly and bring to a boil. The cocoa is ready, all that remains is to pour the drink into cups.
