Doctors from Moscow Region Removed a Cyst with Skull Rudiments and Hair from a Woman

Doctors from the Moscow Region operated on a woman with a cyst in her ovary, where there was hair, fat and the beginnings of a skull. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health and doctor Alexander Skobennikov.
It is noted that a patient with a neoplasm in the ovary - teratoma - was delivered to the Podolsk maternity hospital. This disorder occurs during the period of embryonic development.
According to the doctor, the woman had a tumor removed, the diameter of which was 8 cm.
He noted that this operation requires special care from the specialist. It is important for him not only to remove the tumor, but also to preserve the ovarian tissue.
It is added that the operation was successful. The woman will be able to have children in the future. She is currently feeling well.
