According to the Moscow Agency, specialist of the Moscow Service for Psychological Assistance to the Population Ekaterina Igonina advised men to express gratitude for any gifts.
It is noted that if the gift is unsuccessful, then gratitude should not be stormy. Otherwise, the giver will think that the gift is a man's dream.
The psychologist advised to say that the gift was not suitable, but to do it in such a way as not to offend the person.
In her opinion, humor and goodwill can brighten up the moment.
Igonina believes that after receiving an inappropriate gift, it is important to say a dry "Thank you." If the gift turned out to be pleasant, then expressing wild joy is also not worth it, otherwise it will offend other people.
