Doctors from the Solovyov Hospital in Yaroslavl told Rossiyskaya Gazeta about the dangers of miniature headphones.
There are a huge number of devices that smart students use to make their lives easier during exams. Depending on the model, smart gadgets can be painted flesh-colored or removed from the ear using a special magnet.
Due to its small size, not everyone can cope with the small device after use, and then they have to seek help from doctors.
As doctors noted, a stuck device can cause injury to the ear or cause otitis and myringitis.
But in the worst cases, there is a risk of losing your hearing altogether. For example, an earphone can get behind the eardrum, and surgery is necessary.
And this, in turn, can result in complete hearing loss for the student.
