However, these may be children who are curious about everything unusual, or adults who are deficient in vitamin B, pregnant women and teenagers whose metabolism is not yet fully formed.

It happens that yeast dough is not baked completely.

In this case, there are two options - put it in the oven for additional time or refuse to eat it, because the consequences can be the same as when eating raw dough.

Yeast dough rises in a warm kitchen in 40-45 minutes.

If you ask yourself what happens to it in the stomach and does it rise there, the answer is no. But that doesn't mean that raw dough is completely harmless.

It contains two dangerous components - flour and raw eggs. Both can contain pathogens - E. coli and salmonella.

The production of flour does not involve heat treatment – this occurs during baking.

Microbes in raw eggs are especially dangerous for children and the elderly – they suffer from salmonellosis very painfully. Middle-aged people may experience headaches, nausea or vomiting.

Yeast should not be discounted either. Mostly healthy and nutritious, it stimulates the body to increase the production of uric acid.

If the body is healthy, it will cope with this. But excess uric acid can cause gout to worsen. In addition, niacin in yeast can worsen digestion, and the absorption of thiamine - vitamin B1 - is reduced.

People who frequently use antibiotics should also avoid raw yeast text. Because excess yeast in the body causes mouth ulcers and bad breath, rashes, bloating and diarrhea, coating on the tongue.

How to avoid trouble

- Do not allow children to eat underbaked or raw dough - even when playing.

- If an adult tastes the dough, which housewives often do, he should taste the minimum amount of dough.

- When baking flour products, you must strictly adhere to the temperature regime.

- After you have finished working with the dough - no matter whether it is yeast, shortcrust or puff pastry - be sure to wash your hands with soap, rinse the dishes under running water and wash the countertop.

The question may arise as to how harmful or useful yeast food supplements are in this case. They are, of course, very useful, but they also have side effects. Dry pharmacy yeast can harm people whose stomachs are sensitive to yeast, and are dangerous for allergy sufferers, people with intestinal problems, and hypertension.
