Cheese is a product that is definitely in the refrigerator of every Russian.
And if you think that it is almost impossible to make it yourself, then you should try yourself as a cook and prepare a product from just four ingredients.
Culinary expert of HERE NEWS, cook and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova will tell you a recipe that even a novice cook can handle.

Four-ingredient cheese
To make natural and delicious homemade cheese, you will need:
- 1 liter of full-fat milk (3.2% and above);
- 200 grams of sour cream;
- 3 chicken eggs;
- 1-2 teaspoons of salt.
Note: if you like saltier cheese, then you should add at least 2-3 spoons.
The product is prepared as follows:
- pour milk into a saucepan, add salt, bring to a boil;
- Mix eggs and sour cream separately, pour the mixture into the milk in a thin stream;
- cook until the whey begins to separate (after this, it is recommended to cook the mixture for a couple more minutes to make sure that the whey separates evenly);
- fold the gauze in two layers, place it in a colander and discard the resulting mass onto the filter material;
- Make sure that there is no whey left in the future cheese, then transfer the curd mass into a convenient form.
To obtain cheese, it is enough to press the mass with a weight and leave it in this state for several hours.
