Spring has come, which means that young radishes will soon be on every table.
However, the moment of enjoying a fresh vegetable can be marred by its bitterness.
Culinary expert of HERE NEWS, chef and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova shares practical tips on turning radishes into sugar vegetables.

Methods for getting rid of bitterness
The first method will help you get rid of the bitterness with a pinch of salt and a spoon of vegetable oil. Cut the radish into thin rings, rub with salt, pour in oil and leave for 20 minutes. Then rinse.
The second method allows you to leave a slight bitterness that does not interfere with the taste of the vegetable.
For this you will need:
- lemon juice at the rate of a quarter of one fruit for two vegetables;
- salt.
Grate or chop the radish, put it in a container, pour in lemon juice, add salt. Mix thoroughly and leave for no more than 7 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
