After oatmeal for breakfast, you can safely eat a fatty omelet or a sandwich with sausage. Less cholesterol will enter the blood, which means it will not be deposited on the walls of blood vessels.

How to cook oatmeal properly

Oatmeal with milk is a special delicacy. Not every housewife knows how to cook oatmeal with milk. The proportion of oatmeal to milk should be approximately 1:3.

Milk is poured into a container and placed on medium heat. After it boils, salt and sugar should be added to taste.

Next, add the oatmeal and, stirring continuously, cook the porridge over medium heat until done, which is determined by taste.

At the end of cooking, you can throw a piece of butter into the porridge and stir. To make the porridge especially tasty, you should let it sit under the lid for five minutes.

You can serve porridge either plain or with sweet additives: honey, raisins or dried fruits, jam, berries or fruits.

Oatmeal with milk is more caloric, it contains healthy calcium, which is especially important for children.
