Pomegranate is, without exaggeration, one of the most useful berries.
However, due to the abundance of seeds in it, many people wonder how to eat it correctly.
Culinary expert of HERE NEWS, cook and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova is ready to tell you how to actually eat this berry.

How to eat a pomegranate
In fact, pomegranate is a product that can be eaten whole.
For example, the berry's skin is removed, dried and then added to tea to produce a drink with a delicious pomegranate aroma.
As for the seeds inside the pomegranate, their benefits are also obvious. They contain:
- vitamins E, A and group B;
- microelements magnesium, fiber;
- phenolic acids;
- polyphenols;
- punicic acid;
- polyunsaturated fats;
- flavonoids;
- tannins;
- lignans.
However, there is one limitation when eating the fruit with the seeds.
If you have a pomegranate with soft seeds in front of you, you can safely eat it. The seeds are not digested in the stomach, but when passing through the gastrointestinal tract, they act as a kind of brush, sweeping out all unnecessary things from the body.
If the fruit contains hard seeds, it is not worth the risk. Even if thoroughly chewed, they can damage the mucous membranes.
