How to Cook Corn Without a Pot
Since corn, even young corn, needs to be cooked for quite a long time, you want to find a way to enjoy the cobs faster.
A microwave oven, which is found in every kitchen, will help you with this.
It is prepared as follows:
- wash the cobs together with the leaves, cut off the ends;
- Place the cobs on a plate inside the microwave;
- set the timer for 20 minutes (the power should reach 1000 W);
- Remove the corn from the microwave, remove the husks and rub it with butter and salt to taste.
There is a second way to cook corn in 5 minutes. It is similar to the previous one, but differs in that the cobs must first be cleaned, rubbed with oil and salt, and placed in a plastic bag.
After this, it is enough to heat the corn for 5 minutes at maximum power.
