Recipe for making lard
In order to prepare the most delicious lard, you first need to make a brine for it.
Boil 1 liter of water, add salt, sugar, bay leaf and a few peas of allspice and black pepper.
Cool the brine and add the secret ingredient that makes the dish so deliciously soft. We are talking about regular soda.
All you need is one teaspoon, which must be thoroughly dissolved in the brine.
Place the lard in brine, cut into pieces of 100-150 grams. Cover the container with a lid and refrigerate for 3-5 days.
