How to Fix Sour Rassolnik

There are two proven methods that will help you quickly correct the situation with overly sour soup.

The first method involves adding carrots to the soup. To do this, you will need one medium-sized vegetable, which you need to grate and fry in a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil.

Then it needs to be stewed with the addition of water, as a result of which the carrots will become sweet and, when added to the soup, will absorb some of the acidity.

The second life hack is to add more potatoes. Take 3-4 medium-sized tubers, cut into cubes as you would add to soup and boil in meat broth.

All that remains after this is to add the potatoes to the soup and bring it to a boil.
