Experts have identified a list of products that fell in price the most in Russia in mid-summer.
The data was shared by analysts from the Association of Retail Companies (AKORT).
In July, the so-called “borscht set” became significantly cheaper in the Russian Federation, Izvestia writes.

For example, carrots became more affordable by 16.1%, and beets became cheaper by 15%. Potato prices fell by an average of 13.67%.
AKORT notes that in large chain retail stores these vegetables have become much cheaper than in the country as a whole, taking into account other sales channels.
Experts say that in July and August the “borscht set” traditionally becomes cheaper.
Today, the average price of ingredients for borscht (including beef) in retail chains is 82 rubles.
If you take pork, the price is lower - 76.41 rubles. The chicken option is even cheaper - 66.16 rubles, analysts report.
