What foods are best to avoid?

It is no secret that such products primarily include tea and coffee. Both drinks contain caffeine, which, on the contrary, is responsible for the tone and awakening of the body.

It is not recommended to eat white bread and white rice before bed. Both of these products cause a spike in blood sugar, which in turn leads to the release of insulin, adrenaline and cortisol.

These hormones can cause sleep disorders.

A lot of sugar is found in carbonated drinks, milk and chocolate. However, if you want something sweet, you can eat fresh fruit: thanks to dietary fiber, sugar absorption occurs more slowly, and there is no jump in sugar levels.

It is not recommended to drink alcohol before bed, as alcoholic drinks increase blood pressure and interfere with restful sleep.
