What cereals are not healthy
You shouldn't start your morning with corn grits porridge. It doesn't bring any benefits, since it is a fast carbohydrate and is digested very quickly, causing a feeling of hunger again.
One of the favorite types of porridge among Russians - semolina - is also not recommended for breakfast. This cereal is made from wheat, and it also contains gluten.
Within 30 minutes after breakfast it will break down into glucose, therefore there is no benefit from such a dish.
You should also avoid instant porridges that are poured with boiling water. This is because the nutrients in them have already been destroyed during the processing.
For breakfast, it is better to choose cereals that take at least 20 minutes to cook.
