The first manual on the use of artificial intelligence in medicine has been developed in Moscow

Two years ago, after lengthy preparatory work, the active use of artificial intelligence algorithms began in the capital's medical institutions.

To begin with, specialists began training neural networks to detect anomalies associated with various tumors in X-ray images.

Then the technology began to be implemented everywhere, programming it for specific tasks.

And as the Moscow Agency reports , these algorithms have been developed for more than 10 years.

However, it is important to understand that the full implementation of these technologies is not yet possible; the final decision is still made by doctors.

But in general, the use of digital technologies has significantly relieved doctors of the burden of studying images and other documentation.

Now doctors have more time to see patients in person.

The manual on the use of artificial intelligence, like any other methodological publication, will be reissued when new algorithms are introduced.
