Let's start with the fact that chicken with skin is a more caloric product than turkey. 100 grams of the product contain 211 kcal, while turkey has 144.
But chicken fillet is even less caloric than turkey: 113 kcal versus 115. At the same time, the latter contains only 0.7 grams of fat, while skinless chicken breast contains 2.6 g of fat.
Turkey also wins in cholesterol content, albeit slightly. Turkey contains 62 mg, while chicken contains 64.
One of the significant disadvantages of chicken is the fact that it often becomes an allergen. In addition, many producers do not hesitate to use antibiotics when growing poultry.
In this regard, turkey is a more natural and high-quality product.
However, it should be taken into account that the diet should be varied, therefore, it should include both turkey and chicken.
