In winter, many people notice that real hair loss begins.

It's time to figure out what amount of hair is normal and when it's time to sound the alarm.

Trichologist and candidate of medical sciences Anastasia Kurskaya spoke about the difference in a conversation with aif.ru.

According to the specialist, daily hair loss of 50 to 150 hairs is considered normal.

However, in winter the situation changes, as the condition of our hair is affected by external factors. For example, the head sweats under a hat, and the hair itself is tested by the cold outside and sudden transitions to warmth.

Therefore, if you notice that your hair loss is increasing, but still within normal limits, then there is nothing to worry about.

A trichologist advised me to conduct the following experiment.

Before washing your hair, divide your hair into several strands and tug at each one. If you end up with more than 20 hairs in your hand, it’s best to consult a trichologist.

Earlier, a trichologist spoke about why dandruff appears.
