China has responded to the US providing aid to Taiwan.
Beijing considered arms trade with the island to be a violation of the country's sovereignty.
The corresponding information appeared on Thursday, December 5, on the official website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the publication, arms sales to Taiwan harm China, interfere in its internal affairs and pose a threat to the country's territorial integrity.
In connection with this, Beijing is imposing sanctions on 13 companies, as well as six individuals from the management team.
The stop list included:
- Treda Brown;
- BRINC;
- Rapid Flight;
- Red Six Plan;
- Shield;
- Senix;
- Firestorm;
- Quitos System;
- Catastrophe;
- Niros;
- Cyberlux;
- Domo Tactical Communication Company;
- Group W Company.
According to China's policy, all assets of sanctioned entities and individuals will be frozen. This includes assets located in the country.
They are also prohibited from entering China, Hong Kong and Macau and from trading with the country's subjects.
