Bad weather in St. Petersburg led to tragic consequences.

According to the department, the incident occurred on Gagarin Street.
Due to strong winds, with gusts reaching 22-27 meters per second, a tree fell here.
Unfortunately, a local resident was killed by the fall. In addition, a woman and a child were injured, and 10 cars were damaged in various ways.
As noted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, recently rescuers have responded to calls 71 times. It is noted that only 67 cases were related to the threat of falling trees.
In addition, in four cases, rescuers had to deal with the consequences of falling metal structures.
City services have been put on high alert, and city residents are asked to stay home if possible to avoid any unpleasant consequences associated with the bad weather.
